METACyt Integrating Science and Technology Centers
The METACyt initiative will provide $10M of support for the creation and extension of four integrating science and technology centers: Biochemical Analysis, Chemical Imaging and Assaying, Genomics and Bioinformatics, and Computational Cytomics. These centers will furnish greatly needed service functions for IU Bloomington, in addition to creating new research collaborations and deepening ties with the IU School fo Medicine. The centers will also provide much needed training in performing experiments in essential areas of the life sciences, so as to maximize campus research productivity.
