Research Associate: Imaging Specialist

The Indiana Metablolomics and Cytomics initiative at Indiana University Bloomington is seeking to hire 1-2 chemists to work in the Center for Chemical Imaging and Assaying. Candidate must have either a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, or biophysical chemistry. Successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the design and conjugation of chemical labeling agents used for various imaging techniques (e.g. PET, MRI, fluorescence, etc.), will have a good background in conjugation of markers to biological macromolecules (proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides, etc.), and will have a basic knowledge of biochemistry. Familiarity with carbohydrate, peptide, nucleic acid, lipid, or bioconjugate chemistry will also be very useful. Salary is commensurate with experience and rank dependent upon qualifications.
